Our nation is a valiant one. Naturally, such a courageous people have many enemies. If you pay attention to the key phrases used by the country’s caring officials, you will notice that in nearly all their speeches, they repeatedly use the word “enemy” and warn that:
“Let us not be deceived by the enemy or play into their hands, completing their puzzle. Let us not let the words of the enemy escape our lips… Let us not let our pens serve the enemy; let us not allow the enemy to mislead our youth; let us not allow our students to fall into the enemy’s trap… We must be wary of the enemy’s cultural onslaught. The enemy wants to hinder our progress, and we must always be fully alert because the enemy infiltrates in various ways.”
All of us Iranians, if observant and aware, can recognize through experience that no country in the world has as many enemies as Iran.
I divide the enemies into two main categories.
A) External Enemies B) Internal Enemies
At the head of the external enemies is the hegemonic America. America has many agents and subordinates, who are also our enemies.
Israel, known as the enemy of the Iranian nation, is an agent of America and has always sought to harm our country.
Aside from Israel, Western countries, meaning European countries, although they may appear friendly with us, are not trustworthy, and we must not trust them.
Among European countries, England has been more hostile towards us. It has been a staunch enemy of the Iranian nation.
Among Western countries, France also often acts as an enemy and harms our country at various times.
Canada is a large country neighboring America and has frequently demonstrated its enmity towards us. If you look annually at the UN Human Rights Committee resolutions condemning Iran, you will always see Canada leading this effort.
The Arab countries of the Persian Gulf region are mostly enemies of the Iranian nation, especially Saudi Arabia, whose people are Wahhabis and strongly oppose us.
Among neighboring countries, Turkey has also been occasionally hostile towards us, and its enmity is more apparent these days.
Previously, the Soviet Union, which was a very large and important country located to the north of our country, was our enemy, but later it divided into multiple countries. Since then, none of those countries count as our enemies.
With the start of the revolution, Iraq set the foundation of hostility with us, and this enmity led to a war that resulted in around one million Iranian casualties and injuries.
Among foreign countries, there might be other enemies that I cannot currently recall.
And the internal enemies:
Currently, the main internal enemies are the seditionists who provide grounds for foreign enemies to infiltrate our country. The seditionists chant slogans against the regime in the streets.
After the seditionists, the silent ones also count as internal enemies, and their threat is no less than that of the seditionists. They do not shout, but their silence harms the country.
These two groups, the seditionists and the silent ones, were added to the internal enemies in the year 88 [2009], but previous internal enemies are still in place.
The People’s Mujahedin, monarchists, nationalists, the Freedom Movement, national-religious groups, and other factions naturally have never ceased their enmity.
The numerous men and women and young people who are currently identified by the Revolutionary Guards and referred to as political prisoners are those internal enemies whose only role was enmity from within, and if released, they will continue their hostility.
Since sometimes new enemies join our previous enemies without our awareness, I believe we should have a site with fully updated information where, at any moment, we can quickly view the latest list of our foreign and internal enemies separately.
In this way, new enemies will never be able to harm us because, with such a site, we can identify our enemies well and neutralize their treacherous plots.
I believe it is best if this site is created and operated by the intelligence unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Implementing this suggestion does not require much but would benefit the country.
