Second Letter from Mohammad Mahdavifar to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution

In the name of God

To the esteemed presence of Ayatollah Khamenei

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, may his shadow endure

After greetings and expressing my respect;

I am aware that, in line with the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region, a very significant amount has been spent from the public treasury to aid the countries of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Palestine for quite some time now.

Personally, I wish that the people of Iran will witness the results of these services and sacrifices in their lives in the not-too-distant future.

Which, God willing, will be the case.

However, as a father of a family, truly with the approaching time for the reopening of schools and universities and some unavoidable necessities of life, which I refrain from mentioning to maintain dignity, I kindly request that, for the time being, our six-member family’s share set aside for helping the aforementioned countries be waived. I ask you to instruct that the calculated amount, in any manner possible, be deposited into my account at the Bank Saderat branch at the Martyrs Arbabian Square, Aran and Bidgol County, by the end of Mordad [August 22, 2015] at the latest.

Without a doubt, I am counting on this money.

I thank you in advance for your assistance and attention.

Your servant,

Mohammad Mahdavifar

Deminer and Diver of the Sacred Defense
